The Standing Committee on Rights and Responsibilities (SCRR) is composed of a diverse membership of Quadrangle-based and Affiliate-based voting members of the Faculty of Medicine appointed by the Dean of Medicine. The SCRR is charged with:
- serving as Determination Panel members and Appeals Panel members for complaints reviewed pursuant to the Harvard University Non-Discrimination Policy and the Harvard University Anti-Bullying Policy;
- serving as investigative members and as a review committee for grievances processed according to the Faculty Grievance Procedures;
- making recommendations to the Office of the Dean for sanctions pursuant to the Procedures for Handling Complaints Involving Faculty Pursuant to the Harvard University Interim Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and Interim Other Sexual Misconduct Policy;
- serving as members of an Appeals Panel for Master’s and Medical Students under the Procedures for Consideration of Academic Performance and the Procedures for Consideration of Unprofessional Conduct.
