The NIH notification NOT-OD-20-086 Flexibilities Available to Applicants and Recipients of Federal Financial Assistance Affected by COVID-19 provides administrative flexibilities and guidance around reporting, expenditures and prior authorizations applicable to NIH grant recipients at institutions affected by COVID-19. These flexibilities will be implemented in conjunction with Harvard and HMS institutional policy. The Research Compliance team within ARI supports various facets of the research enterprise at HMS to advance a culture of ethics, integrity and compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies, as well as University and HMS policies.
